Last night the Miami Heat blew another close game at home against the Orlando Magic almost the same way they did against the New York Knicks and the Chicago Bulls in the 4th Quarter. Up by 24 points both Lebron James and Dwyane Wade was playing great together and ended up 20 plus points by the end of the first half. But the second half was where things took a turn for the worst for the Heat. Lead by the Orlando Magic Three point shooting and the Heat bad defense both Jason Richardson 24 points with 11 of his points helping start the Magic epic run to victory. Jameer Nelson also chipped in with 12 of his 16 points in the second half combined with a solid game from the teams leading scorer Howard who finished with 14 points 18 rebounds 5 Assist and 5 Blocks. The Magic went on to outscore the Heat 50-23 in the second half which lead them to last nights victory even though both Mike Miller and Lebron James had a chance to tie the game with open Three pointers with only seconds remaining in the 4th Quarter. An after putting on an amazing first half both Dwyane Wade and Lebron James were only 3-13 combined in the second half and the Heat won’t win many games with numbers like that and no bench to pick up the slack. Tonight will be back to back games for the Magic and the Heat. The Magic will travel back home and take on the Chicago Bulls in Game 1 on ESPN at 7pm which is another “Must Win” for them because it gives the Magics a chance to move up once again the in Easter Conference standings. The Heat will fly out to Texas to take on the Spurs in Game 2 on ESPN at 9:30pm.
