You expect a real-deal approach from Harlem MCs, and from the get, Dave East has kept an uptown hardness to his very fluid rap style. Last year’s ‘Beloved’ project with Styles P featured tracks called “Shout Out My Hood” and “Thots & Models.” East doesn’t flinch, which is part of the power you hear on his new “Everyday” track with the Gunna feature.
