On Thursday’s (Sept. 24) episode of #EverydayStruggle, Nadeska, Wayno and DJ Akademiks start off the show reacting to the Breonna Taylor verdict, where none of the officers were directly charged for her murder. Next, they give some quick thoughts on Time’s ‘100 Most Influential People’ list, which features Megan Thee Stallion, The Weeknd, Dwyane Wade and more. Soon after, the EDS trio shares their thoughts on Rolling Stone’s ‘500 Greatest Albums of All Time’ list, which included Lauryn Hill’s ‘Miseducation of Lauryn Hill,’ Kendrick Lamar’s ‘To Pimp A Butterfly,’ Kanye West’s ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ and other rap albums in the Top 50. Later, DJ Akademiks and Wayno debate Lil Durk claiming to be the No. 1 rapper from Chicago. Then, the EDS crew highlights Brooklyn rappers, Sheff G & Sleepy Hallow, in their ‘Fast Break’ segment. Lastly, the EDS squad reacts to Kanye’s most recent tweets, where he stated that he’s giving G.O.O.D. Music artists their masters back and more.
