On Wednesday’s (Sept. 16) episode of #EverydayStruggle, Nadeska, Wayno and DJ Akademiks start off the show reacting to Big Sean volunteering his contract for Kanye to examine, which sparked a new Twitter rant by the Chicago rapper. Next, DJ Akademiks and Wayno take a deep dive into Vulture’s recent list of the ‘100 songs that define New York Rap, Ranked.’ The list features songs, such as ‘Shook Ones PT 2’ by Mobb Deep as No. 1, ‘Juicy’ by Notorious B.I.G., ‘Hot N***a’ by Bobby Shmurda, ‘Dior’ by Pop Smoke and many more. Soon after, the EDS crew gives their honest take on some recently released tracks in their ‘Hit, Brick or Wait on it’ segment. They review ‘The Voice’ by Lil Durk, ‘I Got You’ by Trippie Redd ft. Busta Rhymes, ‘Ring’ by T.I. ft. Young Thug and ‘Pop Like This’ by YBN Nahmir ft. Yo Gotti. Lastly, the EDS trio briefly comments on the potential beef between Lil Uzi and Lil Yachty that has JT (City Girls) caught in the middle.
