On Thursday’s (Sept. 17) episode of #EverydayStruggle, Nadeska, Wayno and DJ Akademiks start off the show dissecting Kanye West’s Universal Music Group contracts that he shared on Twitter yesterday. Next, the crew weighs in on Hit-Boy revealing that Kanye stopped picking his beats after he worked with Beyonceon a few tracks. Wayno also shares some insight on the process of knowing what record contracts to sign. Soon after, the EDS trio comments on Russ’ recent tweets, where he questions streaming services and being curious about the suggested price point for singles and albums. Later, the crew highlights Mulatto in their ‘Fast Break’ segment and to close out, Wayno and DJ Akademiks talk about Carl Chery’s recent tweets, where he expressed the importance of an artist avoiding the margin of error when choosing when to release music.
