Rapper and singer The Kid LAROI has kept the spotlight on him over the past year, name-dropping TikTok star Addison Rae and releasing one Cole Bennett-directed music video after the other.
Laroi was born in Australia, where he began rapping at the age of seven. In January 2019, Laroi opened up for Juice WRLD’s first Australian tour and would later become his labelmate as a signee to Lil Bibby’s Grade A Productions. Traveling and even living together for a bit, Juice became a mentor and close friend to Laroi before his tragic death in December 2019.
The Kid LAROI was recently featured on the Marshmello and Polo G-accompanied song “Hate The Other Side” from Juice WRLD’s posthumous album ‘Legends Never Die.’ Juice also appears on The Kid LAROI’s track “GO” from the Aussie teen’s recent debut mixtape ‘F*CK LOVE.’
