Ty Dolla $ign has a lot to celebrate with the release of his third solo studio album, which he proclaims if for the people and what the fans wanted. Speaking with the L.A. Leakers Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk, the Los Angeles native chops it up about the ‘Featuring Ty Dolla $ign’ project that he details as more than just club bangers and highlights his rooted musicality.
As the album features a total of 25 entries, Ty recruited a lot of his hip-hop heavy weight friends to capture the essence of his known featured style. Breaking down how most of the records came together, the “Ego Death” singer shared a story about him linking with Quavo and Offset for a studio session after running into Hunch driving around. Ty also goes on to share how he’s been dealing with learning to live during the current coronavirus pandemic, getting a sign off from Snoop Dogg as being the new Nate Dogg, shouts out Baby Keem as one of his favorite rising artists, and much more.
