In this clip, Aries Spears addresses John Witherspoon’s passing, and he speculated as to whether there could be a reboot of The Boondocks without Witherspoon, who played “Grandad” on the animated series. Aries questioned whether they would have a character that was similar to Grandad but obviously his own, or if they would have someone new do Grandad’s voice. Moving along, Aries spoke about Eddie Murphy, Godfrey, and Jamie Foxx having the ability to do great impressions and make them funny, which Aries says he feels like he can do as well.
