In this VladTV exclusive, CML Lavish D sat down to set the record straight on his life and rap career. The Sacramento native getting into gangbanging before his teenage years and was forced to drop out of high school after being in and out of jail. Lavish D talked about pursuing a rap career after catching his first gun case. However, his career was derailed after he was connected to a shooting and authorities used his four-year-old son against him, forcing him to take a plea deal.

After taking credit for Bloods and Crips no longer beefing in his city, Lavish D explained his past beef with Philthy Rich. He also described a gang war and being hit with more legal trouble as a result of his feud with Mozzy. The rapper accepted a six-year plea deal so his co-defendant wouldn’t catch his third strike and a life sentence. After completing his sentence, he was jailed again for violating his parole by being present during a shooting at C-Bo’s video shoot. Looking back, CML Lavish D acknowledged that the various beefs may have been roadblocks to him achieving widespread success in rap.
