LaSheena Weekly described her reaction to the news that her son FBG Duck was murdered. She explained that news outlets announced he was dead before she could make it to the hospital. Weekly also accused news outlets of trying to tarnish Duck’s name and took issue with the mayor of Chicago labeling her son as a gangbanger. Duck’s mother pointed out that although the rapper had been to the county jail a few times, he never had a criminal felony record or served time in a penitentiary. Weekly also revealed that her house was raided a few weeks after FBG Duck’s death and feels that law enforcement didn’t do enough to save her son’s life following the shooting.
