In this clip, Freeway Ricky speaks about white people fleeing Compton after the Watts Riots in 1965, and he added that he remembers there being a white part of town when his family moved there in 1968. From there, Freeway Ricky state that he doesn’t believe that riots will always get the attention of the government, and he added that the real power comes when money is involved. Freeway Ricky then agreed with DJ Vlad on there being no successful financial boycotts in modern times, and he addressed the unsuccessful boycott of Gucci in the Black community.
