In this clip, Godfrey dismissed the idea of there being one comedian that can claim the title of “best impressionist.” Godfrey explained how comedians just recently realized that he could do impressions because it was something he hardly did on stage. Godfrey believes that impressions could easily cheapen a comedian’s stand-up material. He went on to demonstrate how he executes certain voices, particularly Charlie Murphy which Godfrey believes he does the best.
