In this clip, Godfrey shares his thoughts on Atlanta actor Brian Tyree Henry being cast as Phastos, the first openly-gay Marvel superhero. Godrey explained that there are barely any Black superheroes in existence and people have been asking to have one for years, so he is confused about why Marvel had to make him gay. Godfrey went on to speak about turning down the role if it were offered to him, as he stated that the playing field for Black actors isn’t the same as white actors.
