In this clip, John Salley reacts to Michael Jordan starting his own NASCAR team and signing Bubba Wallace as his first driver. John stated that owners are supposed to hire the best driver, and he’s glad that it was Bubba, who is Black. John went on to speak about being a big fan of the sport, and he added that it’s a smart move for Jordan getting involved in NASCAR, as his home state of North Carolina is the “Mecca” for racing.
