In this flashback, Kid from Kid ‘N Play spoke about being friends with Salt-N-Pepa before they were all famous. He explained that Hurby “Luv Bug” Azor formed Salt-N-Pepa and helped launch their music career. Prior to that, they were all working at a Sears call center, although not at the same time, and Kid added that Martin Lawrence worked at a gas station across the street. Kid detailed watching Salt-N-Pepa blow up in the music world with “Push It,” and later signing a deal with Select Records with the help of Hurby.
