Kid from Kid ‘N Play came through for yet another VladTV interview, and this time around, he shared his thoughts on the new Salt-N-Pepa biopic. Kid explained that they were all friends before they got famous, and Kid added that he watched Salt-N-Pepa’s rise as it was happening. However, Kid admitted that watching the movie brought back old memories that made him emotional at times. Kid went on to explain that Hurby “Luv Bug” Azor, who created Salt-N-Pepa and Kid ‘N Play, doesn’t get the credit he deserves. Kid then went on to explain that he tried to be the opposite of Hurby when he started managing groups with Steve Stoute, but the “nice manager” route didn’t go over well.
