In this clip, Muggsy Bogues reacted to NBA players kneeling after the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, which he supports and thinks that the players need to let their voices be heard. When asked if he thinks kneeling would’ve been tolerated during his effort, Muggsy stated that he doesn’t think it would’ve happened because it was a different time. He went on to speak about Chris Jackson, who now goes as Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf, being blackballed in the NBA because he didn’t agree with the National Anthem. Muggsy also shared his thoughts on people comparing LeBron and Jordan’s social justice missions, which you can hear more about above.

In this clip, Muggsy Bogues closed out his interview by stating that he would love to see another 5’3″ player dominate in the NBA like himself. Muggsy added that he had to be self-motivated to make it in the NBA, as he added that there wasn’t a single person who told him that he could make it as a professional player. Muggsy also added that it was his knowledge of the game that also allowed him to be great. To hear more, hit the above clip.
