In recognition of the release of the cult classic film ‘Paid in Full’, one of the men whose story inspired the motion picture, Azie Faison, sat down with DJ Vlad back in 2016 to tell his story. Faison recounts vivid details about Harlem during the 1980s crack era, and explains what parts of the film were correct and what things were left out. Most importantly, Azie addresses Alpo Martinez killing Rich Porter over $300,000 and Rich’s nephew getting kidnapped.
