In the latest clip, YBN Nahmir broke down the foundation that would form the YBN crew. He explained that his group of friends met and built their friendship while playing the Grand Theft Auto game series. While Cordae, Almighty Jay, and Nahmir are the most notable group members, Nahmir said he, Valley Girl, Valley Boy, and Glizzy are the foundation of the collective.

He continued by revealing that the YBN name was created after his friend passed away from a heart attack. Nahmir also talked about releasing music on Soundcloud in 2015 before he scored his first hit with “Rubbin Off the Paint” in 2017 after World Star Hip Hop contacted him when the video hit 50,000 views.
