24: How long have you been modeling? 

Knasi: I’ve been modeling for like 8 years now.  5 years urban runway and 3 years swimsuit/lingerie.

24: What is your nationality? 

Knasi: I’m German, Black and American Indian.

24: After reading your bio, it seems like you’ve had a rough childhood. Did that help inspire you to do what you do today? 

Knasi: Wow!!! 
It truly did.  It’s definitely strengthened me and my faith.  I see
life through clean windows now.  Life without adversity is
stagnating. You have to go through something to grow and to better
appreciate your journey.  Without the bad how would we even identify
the good.  Though while I was going through those rough times I felt suicidal. I feel so blessed now to have those experiences
underneath my belt because they make me the extraordinary woman I am
today.

24: What made you want to be a model instead of a singer? 

Knasi: After
over 12 years in this industry you begin to see it for what it really
is.  Though music and singing remain my number passions I’d rather wait
for a situation to manifest that’s beneficial for me.  I know so many
people that have deals that are so unhappy with them.  They were so
hungry that they jumped into the fire out of the pot.  I’ve learned a
lot from just watching them.  I don’t want to lose my love because I’m
having to force myself to meet a deadline.  Creativity is something
that should be natural not forced.  Plus, I just don’t like the fact
that the music industry doesn’t have many regulations and unions.  So,
I opted to go the modeling route because you can have more of a handle
on your career and it’s direction.

24: Do you still consider singing? 

Knasi: Ummmm…
Yeah…. Kinda. Singing is something that I’ll do until the day I
die. Whether it be in the shower or in a booth lol  I’m just not as
anxious as I used to be to have it institutionalized.

24: What labels were looking to sign you back then? 

Knasi: Capitol, Universol and TVT.

24: Where have you made appearances as a model? 

Knasi: I’ve
shot with EyeCandy, Blackmen, Smooth, FEDs and Sweet.  However, really
I’m tryna focus on right now is to conqueror the internet world.  So,
that’s where I’m at now.

24: Which has been your favorite shoot or video? 

Knasi: I
think my most memorable shoots was been working with Keith Marion of
Marion Design here in Atlanta because he allows me to have some
creative control.  That’s always nice.  Thanks Keith.  Your the best lol

24: What projects are you currently working on?

Knasi: Your gonna have to wait til 2008 to see.

24: Whats the biggest misconception about you?

Knasi: I
think the biggest misconception about any Urban Hip Hop
Video/Publication Vixen is that we are all hoes and that we lack
intelligence.  That’s the most aggravating thing to me.  Have I made my
share of mistakes, Of course I have but, haven’t we all.  Are there
females that sell themselves short?  Of course there but, who doesn’t
have someone that they know, male or female, that does the very same
thing.  Just on a smaller scale.  There is such a double standard for
men and women.  Men are promiscuous and they are the man the man. 
Women are promiscuous and they are sluts.  Whatever!!!  Not they I
condone casual sex but, get a grip people. It’s the 2008 and women are
doing the damn thing.  Don’t be mad at us because we finally have a
voice.  Rock on ladies!!! 

24: What do you like the most about being a model? 

Knasi: The challenge of recreating myself.

24: What do you dislike about being a model, if any? 

Knasi: The stereo type that comes along with it and the expectation to look photoshop-ed every second of every day.  Imagine that!!!

24: Since this is the ice cream parlor, what flavor of ice cream would you be and why? 

Knasi: I’d be a swirl cone lol.  Think the reasoning why is obvious lol

24: For the men reading, are you single? 

Knasi: I am very single :o(

24: What’s the most romantic thing a man has done for you?  

Knasi: For
my birthday he surprised me by renting a cabin in the mountains of VA. 
We woke up the next morning to a fresh layer of snow and deers feeding
outside.  It was breath-taking

24: Whats the worst pick up line used on you? 

Knasi: All of em’ lol. 

24: What is the sexiest outfit you own?

Knasi: A pair of worn jeans (cute thong underneath) and a wife better (no bra)

24: What else do you want to do outside of modeling? 

Knasi: I want to host a radio or tv show. 

24: What are your career goals? 

Knasi: My goals are to conqueror the internet world of modeling and to move into tv and/or big screen eventually.
