What lead you to start modeling? 

Latysha:  Well I have always been into fashion,
painting, beauty, art, photography, web design. I really didn’t think
about modeling. I just loved being in front of the camera. Every time someone
was taking a picture there I was it was like a hobby lol. But when I was in
high school photographers and random people I would meet would tell me I
was beautiful and had a unique look. So with the support of my friends and
family I decided to pursue modeling. I was shy at first but then began getting
use to it. I have had my up and downs, but I won’t finish until I get to the
top…(wink, wink).

Is it hard being a model and living in Miami
with so much competition? 

Latysha:
Yes there is a lot of competition in Miami
but sometimes it’s whom you know and how hard you hustle. You have to be driven
and organized. You have to show up for every casting call and all of your
shoots. Your hard work will show and the photographers will want to work with
you again. I think it’s hard because there are a lot of perverts in the
modeling industry. All they want is sex but they promise you gigs in magazines,
videos, commercials, etc. Sorry to say but a lot of models do what they have to
do to get to the top. It makes it hard for models like me that are only
interested in the business.
