24: How old are you?
Sinnamon: I’m 33 years old.

24: How long have you been in the industry?
Sinnamon: I just celebrated my 14th year in
the industry this past February.

24: What inspired you to get into the
industry?
Sinnamon: My story is rather dull. I started
doing porn in 1993. I was going through a divorce, was carrying 13 units as
a college sophomore, had 2 small children and was working 2 high end retail
jobs. I had never seen a porn movie or magazine before. I never worked as a
stripper. I answered an ad in the paper for figure modeling – looking to work
as an artist’s model or something of the like and found that most of the ads
I found were pornographers. The money was excellent and would allow me to complete
college and spend quality time with my children by working a few hours a week
instead of 40-60 hours to barely make ends meet. I didn’t want my grades to
suffer and welfare was never an option for me. I don’t knock those that chose
that path… but I knew it wasn’t my path. This was something I enjoyed and
was a plausible solution to continuing my education and adequately providing
for and raising my family.
