24: Introduce yourself to the readers and let them know where you’re from?

Tasha: Hey, all I’m Tasha Ford and I’m a New Yorker.  However, I just moved to Florida by way of Washington, DC.

24: What made you want to get into modeling?

Tasha:  Well, it just kind of happened.  Modeling wasn’t a career path choice for me at the time that it happened for me.  I was working for one the leading spirits company in the world as a market manager.  I needed to find some models for my ultimate gentleman’s tour, featuring Fonzworth Bentley, when I entered this contest “Black Men’s Magazine Swimsuit Competition” trying to find models for my event.  I had to enter the contest to get next to the models.

24: What’s your nationality, because I’m sure everyone is trying to guess it including myself?

Tasha: I’m Black and Puerto Rican. We are told that we are descendants of Haiti, so that could be the interesting mix that makes it hard to determine what I am.

24: With so many beautiful models in the industry what would you say you bring to the table that separates you from everyone else?

Tasha: I’m a business women first.  I am constantly trying to find ways to market myself to keep my name in the game.  Not too many models can say that they’re as diverse as me.  I can do high fashion and urban modeling and it’s natural for me.

24: What are your measurements and what part of you would you say is the sexiest?

Tasha: It’s 34-25-34 and my legs are the shit!

24: Okay, now what part of your body would you say gets the most attention from the fellas, lol?

Tasha: My face and what’s going on in my mind. It’s very rare that I allow men to get into my mind and when they do, it’s shocking.

24: What would you say is an automatic “Turn On” & “Turn Off” for you about a guy?

Tasha: A man that is pressing me for intimacy. I don’t like a fast easy man. I like a man that takes his time, because he values his life and body. I don’t want a man that every pretty girl can be with, or model for that matter. I want someone that knows he can have any woman he wants, but only desires the company of one quality woman.  Someone who doesn’t look for perfections, yet strives for it.

24: A lot of people say the way to man’s heart is by cooking so if you had to cook a meal for that special someone what would it be?

Tasha: Well, this would be a package deal. Not only does he get my Sweet Herb Salmon with Santa Fe Green Beans, he’ll also get one of my mean massages, and a special dessert will definitely reassure him that he’s the king of this domain.

24: Are you in a relationship and if not what do you look for in a guy?

Tasha: I date.  I’m more of a companionship type girl.  I want my man to be my best-friend and protector, he’s got to stimulate my mind before i will allow him to stimulate anything else.  I love a good communicator. For example, if you schedule an at home quite me and you movie and dinner at home, and something a little more pressing comes up, tell me as soon as you know.  I don’t need to know why you have to cancel, I just need to know that you respect me and my time.  Don’t have me anticipating a big let down, just a mild one.  After you notify me, follow up with a compliment.  I’ll appreciate it and keeps me feeling sexy other than sad. I’m the type of woman that is going to give you the playbook, you just have to follow it.

24: What would you say is the biggest misconception people seem to have about you if any?

Tasha: That I’m a snob or stuck up. Those who know me know that I’m very silly and it doesn’t really match my look. I have a toddler, so I’m in a nurturing fun mood. However, when I’m in business mode, it’s a whole new person and mental state that you are dealing with.  I use to allocate money to venues and private affairs.  Over a quarter of a million in budget money, so don’t get it twisted.

24: Tell me your favorite song that just seems to get you in the right mood with that special someone?

Tasha: Janet Jackson “Would You Mind” or Jill ScottAll I“.

24: Tell me the worst pickup line a guy has used in order to get your phone number or the worst date you have been on?

Tasha: Things like “I’m sure your man is a lucky man“. Or, the insecure man that sends someone(some groupie chick of his)to let me know who he is and what he does followed by he wants to meet you over there.

24: Tell me what’s the most Hot & Sexy outfit you have in your closet right now?

Tasha: I have a black boa and feather garter belt that you saw me wearing in Show Magazine spread. I often bring my own things to these shoots because I’m packaged a “little” differently them most modeling in this industry. I’m tiny(smiling).
