A 12-year-old boy appeared in court on Tuesday after he was arrested for allegedly selling his mixtape at a GA mall in October. Corey AKA “Lil C Note” Jackson, a young rapper, is now facing charges of disorderly conduct with violence, criminal trespassing, and an obstruction felony.

Jackson was in Georgia visiting family when he was arrested in the mall’s food court. Police allege that the young rapper was taken into custody after he was told twice to stop selling his mixtapes. But Jackson‘s lawyer, Mawuli Davis, has maintained his young client’s innocence. “When he was there, he was not selling any CDs,” Davis told local news.
