Atlanta rapper, 2Chainz, can’t get a break. He’s still feeling the wrath of a recent robbery at gun point in California earlier this month.
Until the video of the rapper being robbed at gunpoint went viral, 2Chainz denied the entire incident. You see the rapper clear as day tripping over his own feet trying to run. I don’t know if he has a rep to protect or he might’ve been embarrassed that he got jack in broad daylight with a “15” people entourage, but Chainz refused to admit to the world that he was robbed. He went so far as to let the world know that this “ROBBERY” was all a lie that he tweeted this post, “Rule #1 if a rapper gets robbed people usually post items that has been taken. Rings, chains, watch, money etc. 2 answer that question.” I guess the robber felt some type of way because he responded to Chainz twitter post and upload the rappers driver license and credit card.
The photo went viral on Instagram after @lilg04, posted the picture of the Chainz credit card and driver license displaying the artist address and credit card number with the caption: “That nigga #2Chainz said he never got robbed out here in the #Bayarea.”
The “smart” robber might be caught a day or so since he thought it was very intelligent to post the picture on his actual Instagram where people can identify him. Very smart!!
Chainz really wanted to cover his lie of not being robbed that he reached out to his fans via Twitter and referred to the robbery as “pick pocketing,” but his fans didn’t believe the alleged cover up, so the rapper finally came forward. “Cards get canceled and license cost 5 dollars, been shot at before and vice versa, I’m here 4 a reason so get use to U CAN’T STOP DIS SHT,” 2Chainz tweeted.
I don’t know if Chainz could bounce back from this one. He should’ve been real from the jump and just admit that he was robbed. I’m not going to lie, after watching the video I believe he’s in the wrong profession…Track star is his calling. I know he had to run at least at least a 4.2 even with all those heavy clothes on. Well, I guessed it’s time for the rapper to move because all type of unannounced visitors are going to pop up, leave their demo’s on his door step or more robbers would show up to “pick pocket” him again….lol. Be safe 2Chainz.
