Lil Baby gained 2 Chainz gratitude after doing a huge favor for him in the biggest way. He publicly thanked Baby for saving his hard drive, which contained a lot of unreleased music.

“I wanna take to the time to salute and acknowledge @lilbaby_1 a real street general,” 2 Chainz wrote via Instagram. “Bru was able to get the hard drive back for me and @sb_skooly and I appreciate that 1thousand !!!”

The rescuing of 2 Chainz’s hard drive isn’t Lil Baby’s first time around saving music. Last year the rapper was able to track down two stolen hard drives after his label’s CEO Pierre “Pee” Thomas offered a $20,000 reward for their safe return.

2 Chainz and Lil Baby did a collaboration together a few months ago including Gucci Mane on the track titled “Anyway,” which was on Lil Baby’s “Street Gossip” album.
