Two people at a Beyonce concert
got more than they bargained for when pyrotechnics mistakenly shot into
the crowd, injuring two concert goers in St. Louis on Sunday night
(July 8).

According to the Associated Press, the injured fans
were taken to Barnes-Jewish Hospital for treatment. Their names haven’t
been released as of yet, but the injuries are said to be minor. Both
were expected to make a full recovery.

The pair received a surprise emergency room visit from Knowles
shortly after the concert ended. “She was worried and wanted to make
sure they were doing ok,” head nurse Darryl Williams said.

“She was just very concerned about the people injured in the
audience,” Williams said. “It was unannounced and we kept it very
low-key so that she could spend time with them.”

Beyonce sat with the fans for about 45 minutes. “I just thought it was a great thing for someone of her stature to do,” Williams said.

A spokesperson for Houston-based Music World Entertainment, which represents Knowles, declined comment.
