Now however 50 has opened up a little bit about the fire and is indicating that it was Shaniqua who set the fire due to her being upset about having to leave it. Shaniqua was ordered by the court three days before the fire began to leave the premises. “The courts told her she had to leave,” 50 said. “It’s kind of more like, ‘If I can’t have you, you can’t have it.” When asked if he was directly implying his ex he carefully said “the circumstances to it might seem that way.”
Shaniqua and her lawyer, Paul Catsandonis, said that 50 owed her the house because he promised to buy her a house over 10 years ago when they were still together. “Everything that’s his is hers, everything that’s hers is his. He memorialized in an e-mail that he intended to give her the house,” the attorney told the Associated Press. He also said that 50 must of temporarily lost his mind and signed an agreement that promised Shaniqua half of his earnings. I don’t think so on that one.
The official investigation on the fire is still ongoing, but the cause of the fire has been determined as arson.
