The ever hustling 50
Cent has inked a new deal with Steiner Sports to start selling memorabilia.
What kind of memorabilia you ask since 50 doesn’t play any sports right?
Well that’s just inside the box thinking as 50 will begin
hawking autographed pictures, movie-related products and even concert-worn
apparel. That’s right, in case you weren’t lucky enough to be the one to walk
away with that sweaty wife beater Curtis was wearing in the show don’t worry,
now you can buy one!
The Steiner Company has issued a statement outlining their
plan for getting 50’s swag out there to the new markets. “He’s an
authentic guy who gets the business portion of his career,” said Robert
Vazquez, the director of talent procurement at Steiner. “We have access to
[in-flight magazine] SkyMall, to Neiman-Marcus and to corporate clients that
might not be familiar with 50 Cent,” said Vazquez. This will be the Steiner
company’s first move into the entertainment world aside from sports
memorabilia.
No word yet on how much these items will likely sell for,
but for 50’s bodily fluids I’m sure it’s going to be a pretty penny. I hear
they even bag and seal the shirts to keep the fresh sweat and funkyness in
there!
