In a recent interview with MTV Curtis was asked if he was
nervous about dropping the forthcoming G-Unit
album “T.O.S. (Terminate On Site)” on June 24th which is the same day ex G-Unit
comrade The Game is set to drop his
album, “LAX”.

Well 50 said he’s not worried at all because that simply won’t
be happening. “Nah, I’m just gonna wait a while and then just push his album
back.” He continued to explain why. “It just wouldn’t make sense right now
because just that momentum alone would force people to pick sides that maybe
really don’t want to. You get me like people from the west coast might be like
‘I don’t really mess with Game but this is the west homie’. Ya know so I’m not
even gonna give him that boost to be affiliated with us like that.”

Well we know 50 has been known to demolish a few careers
(The Lox anyone?)  but The Game is still a big star so we’ll have to wait
and see on this one. I know those record label folk don’t like playing with
their money though so I don’t know if he has enough weight to pull this one
off. Let’s just wait and see if we get an announcement from Game saying he is
taking time to make the record “all it can be”, as that is the usual excuse
rappers give for the labels not believing in them enough at the time to put out
their album.
