SANTA MONICA, Calif. (KTLA) — Actress Reese Witherspoon was rushed to the hospital Wednesday after being hit by a car.

Police in Santa Monica confirmed to KTLA that the actress was jogging when she was struck by a vehicle. Officers say the crash was not a hit and run. Witherspoon, 35, is reportedly recovering at home at receiving treatment for minor injuries. Police are releasing no other details at this time.

Witherspoon won an Oscar for her role in "Walk The Line." She married Hollywood agent Jim Toth earlier this year. She has two children with ex-husband, actor Ryan Phillippe.
