THE N.O. GOT TOO HOT FOR THE HOT BOYS THIS ALL-STAR WEEKEND

The long awaited reunion of the legendary group The Hot Boys ( Lil Wayne, Turk,
B.G., Juvenile, Mannie Fresh) was a bust this All-Star Weekend after three
people were shot outside the club just minutes before the doors were opened.
The event was supposed to be happening at Club Dream in New Orleans and be attended by some of the
hottest names in hip hop i.e., Rick Ross, DJ Khaled, Yung Joc. Though none of
the shots were fatal, two women and one man were hit. They were rushed to the
hospital and fixed up good and quick enough to still make the afterparty (just
kidding). As in most cases involving violence amongst young black people there
are no suspects and little to no headway has been made since the incident. So
no Hot Boys reunion yet my lil’ woadies but we should stay optimistic as Lil’ Wayne says it is still a
very real possibility, “It’s just a phone call away.” Let’s hope the call is
made and next time the violence can at least wait till’ after the show.
