American Gangster was nominated for two Golden Globe
Awards, including Best Picture of the Year, it was announced yesterday
(December 13) in Beverly Hills, California.

The movie, which stars Denzel Washington as Harlem crime boss Frank
Lucas, topped the box office upon its release in November and has
grossed over $100 million dollars. American Gangster, which was directed by Ridley Scott, also
stars a number of Hip-Hop artists, including The RZA of Wu-Tang, Common
and Atlanta native, T.I.

Washington
