The industry elite, aspiring artists and of course DJs from all all around the country gathered in Miami, FL for a meeting of the minds a couple weeks ago, all coordinated by Tony Neal and his organization, The Core DJs. Priding itself on being an event manufactured specifically for networking and an all around good time, CORE XIV, this time around being presented by indie label B Major Music Group, was definitely the place to be in order to mix and mingle with some of urban music’s most influential figures. Among the many guests spotted were, Sean Kingston, Yung Berg, Steve Raze of AllhipHop.com, Jazze Pha, DJ Dimepiece, Fonzworth Bentley, The YoungBloodZ, Bryant McKinnie, Big Chuck of Poe Boy Music/Hiram Group of course Tony Neal and many more.

Between the pool party, club events, listening parties and hospitality suites, were industry insight power panels which allowed for individuals to speak with key players in urban music as well as pass out material to media outlets and gain rapport with several highly influential independent and mainstream figures. If you happened to miss the festivities, do not fret because there is much more to come from T. Neal and The CoreDJs including Coremorial Weekend (Miami), Core BET (LA), Core Retreat XV (LA), and 2 promotional tours with both artists and The Core Legends. For photos of what you may have missed, check out the gallery HERE provided by We Make The Party. My recommendation to and everyone trying to expand their network in this business: I suggest you sign up for the next retreat. What Mr. Neal and his organization are doing for our music and culture is a treat. Don’t get left behind!
