West Chester, PA –  After the loss ‘Jackass’ star Ryan Dunn this past weekend, everyone across the globe that knew him remembered him through twitter and statements. Half of the ‘Jackass’ cast even chimed in on twitter speaking on their dearly departed friend. However, there was one co-star who was probably closest one to Dunn. If you’ve watched or followed ‘Jackass’ and their cast, then you would know that Margera and Dunn were the closest amongst the rest, we as the fans watched as Dunn appeared with Margera on several of Margera’s own spin-off shows based out of his hometown of West Chester. It was quite apparent that Dunn was really close to Bam and the entire Margera family.

At the time of the fatal car accident, Margera was out of town and received a disturbing phone call from his parents. Now after catching a flight back to Pennsylvania, the fans, MTV, and the world was hesitant to see what the impact had done to Bam Margera. A lot of people were worried about him.

During his first interview with a Fox affiliate after Dunn’s death, Margera spoke on the loss for the first time while visiting the crash site.

These were his comments while in tears:

“I’ve never lost anybody that I care about; he’s my best friend. I was in Arizona when I hear and I remember I was with some friends having the best time ever.”

“And at 12:30 I was just punching out the windows of the rental van, ripping out the speakers, and I don’t even know why I wasn’t mad at anything or anybody. And if it was 12:30 there, then it was 3:30 here and it was exactly when he crashed.”

“He was the happiest person, the smartest guy, he had so much talent. He had so many things going for him. … It is not right.”

When asked how he is going to get through the loss of the man he considered to be his brother, a choked-up Margera said, “I can’t … I can’t.”

“It was the worst phone call I ever got in my life, waking up to that.”

The really messed up part about the whole situation was the fact that people were actually taking damaged car parts and parts from engine block from the crash site and stated to the news reporters that they were going to sell them on ebay.
