He was a Bay Area legend who began his career with the group Mob Figaz before he took of on his own in 2001.Police say witness heard several shots at around 8:45 around the area of 94th and Mac Arthur Blvd.The 37 year rapper was found shot in the head and later died at Highland hospital.He was a key figure in the Oakland rap scene and will surely be missed by fans and family alike.Jacka had just come of tour with Philly rapper Freeway after the two released a joint album last year.
