The Young Money/Cash Money camp is on a collision course to dominate the hell out of the industry. Between Drake and Nicki Minaj conquering radio waves while Lil Wayne was behind bars and even now, YMCMB is dominating top 40 radio. And then after the initial release of the Young Money CEO towards the end of last year, it didn’t take that long for Lil Wayne to get right back on his feet, especially with the coming of the fourth installment to ‘Tha Carter’ series. All the while, the main mogul behind this whole YMCMB Empire, Birdman, is even adding his own kerosene to the fire with the rest of his long list of artists as he plans to release his own LP. It seems as though Birdman kept this project under wraps because light isn’t being shed about it until now.

Birdman recently sat down with MTV News to discuss the release of his forthcoming album ‘Bigger than Life.’ Birdman is working quick these days, his two singles ’Get Money’ featuring Wayne and Mack Maine and ‘Why You Mad’ featuring Wayne and Nicki Minaj is already on the verge of release.

These were his comments:

“We work whenever we wanna work. We always have to have access to a studio, 24/7. We couldn’t be on tour if we didn’t have a way to record or if Wayne didn’t have it. So whenever we wanna work, we can. That’s how we live life: we do how we want to whenever we want to.”

Can we say studioholics!?! Either way, even with Wayne and Nicki on tour, it’s apparent that they’re still finding time somewhere in their busy schedule to add their input in the booth. With the ‘Tha Carter IV’ well on its way, Nicki already working on her next album, new signee, DJ Khaled about to release his ‘We the Best Forever’ and news on Brisco releasing his long awaited ‘Street Medicine,’ this is seriously going to be a YMCMB summer takeover. Birdman has even stated that both him and Wayne plan to release a sequel to their duo collaboration ‘Like Father, Like Son’ soon.
