Miami, FL. – As 2008 comes to a close, artists seem to be performing all over the place in retrospect of pushing their career further. This past Thursday night (December 18) CTE’s own Mr. Florida or better known as Blood Raw was in town to perform at the infamous Coco’s Lounge. Hosted by Miami based entertainment company, Stacks Ent, they were able to secure the location with Coco’s and bring Miami the ‘Louie’ originator.

It never fails how crowded Coco’s seems to be. Every single time there is a scheduled performance whether major or local, people have always come out and showed support to the artists performing on stage with a plethora of exotic dancers surrounding them. Before Blood Raw was to hit the stage, Stacks Ent artists, local icons hit the stage and the crowd became completely ecstatic. Miami based Reggie Cash Flow, C-Ride, and CJ stormed the stage and commenced with their recent hit single ‘Stick Drill.’ The performance was incredible leading the way into the other artists under Stacks, from Zoe Boy to Jimmy Dade and Moody Montana. It was definite that Stacks Ent was holding down the building strong opening for Blood Raw himself. Before they ended their set they provided the crowd with their first hit single ‘Suck N Fuck,’ which featured Reggie Cash Flow, CJ, and C-Ride, a practical overnight success in the making.

As the night continued on another local icon hit the stage, an artist by the name of Mr. Bones came prepared and ready to go. Bones provided his hit singles to a crowd already in the hype zone, practically anticipating the arrival of Raw. The infamous Mr. Florida then hit the stage immediately after Bones with an assortment of thick booty shakers in tow as the crowd went nuts. B. Rawstein didn’t waste any time, launching into his first song before he was even completely on the stage. Raw let the crowd know exactly why the streets love Blood Raw by interacting with the crowd in between every track, giving the show that personal feel that people come to small venues for. Showing that he practices what he preaches Raw showered the dancers in and around the stage with single dollar bills, inspiring the other ballers in the building to do the same.  After a minute it got so thick you could hardly see Raw through all the money flying in the air. While the crowd was jamming to every track the building got the most hype as Raw performed his hit ‘Louie.’ Before ending his set, he set aside some time to pay homage to the late Hood Legend, Toro, which was well respected and honored amongst the crowd, hands high could be seen across the room.

All in all it was a great event that everyone, I know, enjoyed to the fullest. Appreciation for the show was definitely in the air as it literally went past 4am.

Special thanks to Stacks Ent for providing the staff of 24hourhiphop.com entrance and VIP badges.
