mtvU is a division of MTV Networks which produces a 24-hour
television channel that is available on more than 750 college and
university campuses across the United States. The Woodie Awards announced several of their nominees which consisted of Kanye West, B.O.B, Wiz Khalifa, and The Black Keys.

Wiz Khalifa is up for the Woodie of The Year with his song “Black & Yellow”. The Woodie of The Year is awarded to the artist that has made the biggest splash on the college scene in the last year. Also up for this award is Black Keys (“Tighten Up”), B.o.B (“Airplanes”), Arcade Fire (“The Suburbs”) and LCD Soundsystem (“Drunk Girls”).

According to aceshowbiz.com mtvU Woodie Awards will air live from Austin, Texas, during the South by
Southwest Music Festival on March 16 at 12 A.M. (ET/PT). Voting opens
