Cleveland rap legends Bone Thugs-N-Harmony have had a long and tumultuous career. Shady contracts, break-ups, make-ups, prison sentences, scandals, drug rumors, they’ve seen it all. Now it looks like things might be coming back to gether for the group as one of its original members was released from prison early morning yesterday, July 13, prompting a long awaited full group reunion.

Stanley “Flesh N Bone” Howse has been in a California prison for the past decade for a charge relating to pulling an AK-47 on a former friend. During that time the group has lost members, gained them back, stopped making music, and jumped back to the top of the charts. There was a rumor going on for a long time that as soon as Flesh was released the group would unite again and forge forward, which is what looks to be happening.

Flesh was greeted at the prison gates by all members of the group which are Krayzie, Layzie, (who is also Flesh’s biological brother) Bizzy and Wish Bone. Howse himself, nor any members of Bone have given a statement yet but their longtime manager Steve Lobel did speak to us and let us know where the group is heading now.  “It feels amazing, refreshing, exciting [and] I’m so happy for him to finally come home to his family and friends and fans,” Steve told 24hourhiphop.com. “Flesh is a very great, loving, talented, creative individual. We have a lot of memories together. Hopefully we can have more.”

Apparently all that time pent up has left Flesh with a lot of time to write as the group went immediately from the prison gates to the studio where they began putting in work on their upcoming album which is going to be released on Swizz Beats Full Surface label.  Flesh is also expected to start working on his third solo album and will begin looking for a label home in the coming weeks.  Lobell also wanted to point out that Bone and Flesh all appreciate the love and support that has been shown to them and their situations. “I know his Bone brothers are so excited he’s home and now they can make history again,” Lobel said. “They all deserve it. They are amazing and unstoppable together as a team. Thanks to all the fans who wrote to Flesh while he was away and stuck by his side and supported him. I know his brother Layzie [born Steven Howse] couldn’t wait for this time to come.”
