Los Angeles, CA – In what has been some shocking news to the media and the world, the King of Pop has apparently passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest earlier today. As news continues to flood the media and the net, it seems as though Jackson died at the UCLA Medical Center.

According to the Los Angeles Times, when paramedics arrived to Jackson’s home in the early afternoon hours he was not breathing. Captain Steve Ruda told the LA Times that upon arrival to the Holmby Hills neighborhood at approximately around 12:21pm PT (3:21pm ET), the paramedics had to immediately administer CPR to resuscitate him before arriving to the UCLA Medical Center. Sources close to Jackson were stating that he wasn’t not doing so well when he arrived at the hospital. His entire family is reportedly on the way to California. Several news outlets have confirmed his death to be hours ago, so the actual time has not been reported.

At press time, representatives for Michael Jackson have yet to release a press statement concerning these reports.
