After mulling several release
dates for
his debut album, April
20th is the official set date for when the
highly anticipated debut LP by Brisco, “Street Medicine” will hit stores.
Brisco has worked with a
number of producers and collaborators on the album, including T-Pain, Lil
Wayne, Lloyd, Rico Love and Billy Blue.
The rapper has already
released several high-profile singles over the years, including “In The Hood” “Bitch
I’m Me” and “Just Know Dat” featuring Flo Rida and Lil Wayne. Besides freestyles, The Opa Locka Goon has been dropping original material for the streets
like “So Roxy” and “Come See Me”.
“This is the biggest
moment of my life. This is the anticipated album in Miami, period.” Poe Boy
Music Group President, Big Chuck recently commented about Brisco’s upcoming release. “It’s finally his
time to shine. “He’s has an incredible album and the people are going to love
it.”
Recently, a leaked freestyle
to the beat to
Waka Flocka Flame’s “O Let’s Do It” by Brisco
called “Waka Blaka” was released on the internet. The song targeted Gucci Mane as well as So
Icey artists Waka Flocka Flame and OJ Da Juiceman. The song comes right after
Waka was shot two times on Tuesday (January 19) in his hometown of Atlanta, according to Fulton County Police. Rumors speculating as to
why Brisco dissed Gucci Mane and Co. have circulated on the internet, but as
reported to Wordofsouf.com, “This was basically a shot back from the Gucci Mane
song “Heavy” where he implicated my
name in his song.” Gucci Mane is currently serving a 12 month sentence for
violation of probation, Mane pleaded guilty to assault in 2005 for
attacking a nightclub promoter, and last September, he was sentenced to a year
in jail for failing to fulfill his court-ordered 600 hours of community service
in that case.
