I’m sure by now that most of you have heard the rumors about Brisco being robbed. Well it’s indeed true. Brisco recently spoke with XXLMag.com and confirmed that the incident took place. However, the rapper does deny some info in the initial reports of hi being assaulted. Brisco had this to say:

“Contrary to some reports, I was not assaulted in the robbery that took place yesterday,” said Brisco, who forfeited $35,000 in jewelry, $1,000 in cash and car keys and a designer wallet.

For those who don’t know the story, according to the Miami Herald rapper Brisco, a Rick Ross associate, was reportedly robbed of over $35, 000 in jewelry last week in a Miami barbershop according to police reports. Miami New Times reports:

“The City of Miami Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a Barber Shop located at 6301 NW 6 Avenue. The robbery occurred on July 29, 2009, at approximately 12:51 PM. A local rapper, “Brisco” after a photo shoot, went into the shop for a hair cut when four black men invaded the store with hand guns terrifying four customers. One offender pistol-whipped the rapper and demanded his car keys before taking his Range Rover.”

Allegedly the Dade County police are searching for a group of four men who pistol-whipped and robbed Brisco after he left a photo shoot around 1 p.m. The robbers reportedly fired three missed shots and left with a diamond studded yellow gold watch and matching bracelet, as well as a Louis Vuitton wallet and more than $1,000 cash, and to add injury to insult they also stole the rapper’s Range Rover.

The Miami Herald reports the alleged description of the suspects:

“A man with full-sleeve tattoos on both forearms, wearing a red shirt and blue jean shorts, a baseball hat and Timberland boots; a man in a long, white T-shirt, gray sweat shorts and a baseball hat; a man with a beard, wearing a white T-shirt, black pants, a black hat, white sneakers, striped black-and-white boxers; and a heavy set man in a black shirt, black hat, black pants and black sneakers.”

Ja Rule Caught In the Middle of Ashanti and Irv Gotti Feud

While CEO Irv Gotti has been working diligently to rebuild his label Murder Inc; you can rest assure Ashanti will not be in his future plans.  Irv recently announced that he plans to drop Ashanti from the label and has spoken out about his relationship with the r&b singer. According to MTV:

“The relationship  has run its course,” Gotti explained in an interview last May. “The chemistry of what’s needed — we’re in two totally different places. You’re talking to somebody that took her and shaped and molded her and put her out there for the world, and it blew up. We in the Guinness Book of World Records for the highest selling debut by a female R&B artist, 503 [thousand]. We did it! My views and philosophies and her views and philosophies is not meeting up…I don’t think she can win. She needs some guidance with that…But she’s not thinking like that. Really, I couldn’t tell you what she’s thinking. So that relationship has run its course and honestly, I’m gonna just drop her.”

Ja rule has recently spoken out on there ongoing beef.

“I’ma say it like this, Irv is my brother and I respect his decisions,” Rule said. “I don’t have any problems with Ashanti. That’s my sister. We’re a family  so it’s funny, it’s like my brother and my sister are fighting. You see what I’m saying? It’s a funny thing to me but Gotti is my brother before she was my sister so you take it how you take it. But me and Bon Bon are cool and I got love for her, that’s my sister man..I think me and Bon Bon can coincide and do some records together again. I think we might even be able to hit the road and do some shows…Me and Bonnie don’t have issues, her and Irv have issues and it’s a tough thing you know what I’m saying? He brought her into the family but…me and her never had no real friction at all.”

Well with all the financial legalities Irv has faced over the past few years I’m sure Ashanti won’t be too upset about this. Hopefully the label can survive off Ja. Yeah, let’s see how well that works out!
