Charges against Atlanta rap star Gucci Mane were dropped today by prosecutors, (November 3rd), according to Fulton County officials.

The rapper was arrested yesterday (November 2nd), after he was involved in an altercation with another man.

The ordeal began when an off-duty officer witnessed the rapper driving his white Hummer down the wrong side of the road.

Responding officers saw Gucci, born Radric Davis, involved in a physical dispute with the other, unknown individual. During the fracas, police had to use pepper spray to subdue to the rapper.

Gucci was originally charged with driving on the wrong side of the road, running a red light or stop sign, damage to government property, obstruction, no license, no proof of insurance and other traffic charges.

According to a judge, the charges against Gucci were dropped for “want of prosecution” but could be reinstated later.

While the charges have been dropped, Gucci Mane remains incarcerated as of press time, because bail was not granted for the destruction of government property charge. (Via AHH)
