Charges of disorderly intoxication and resisting arrest were tossed out against Trick Daddy after prosecutors admitted the rapper did not commit any crimes during
an altercation last September at Tootsies Cabaret.
Police responded to a fight at the gentleman’s club around 1:00 am
and found a visibly intoxicated Trick Daddy cursing and threatening the
staff. Police allegedly asked Trick Daddy, 33, to leave multiple times, before taking him into custody.
The rapper was taken to a local hospital, treated for minor injuries
sustained during the fight at Tootsies and then arrested and charged
with the two misdemeanor offenses.
Representatives for Trick Daddy said he was very pleased with the outcome of yesterday’s court proceedings.
