Platinum recording artist Wanita “D. Woods” Woodgett of Danity
Kane
taps into her natural on-camera skills and her sassy ’round the way girl
persona to introduce  FLOW TV’s programming
as the celebrity host of “New On Flow” available 24/7 at www.flow.tv and
through Time Warner Cable’s Video-On-Demand throughout the month of July. FLOW
TV is the first on-demand television channel
dedicated solely to the hip hop lifestyle with an authentic look into the
music, culture and trends of the hip hop nation. FLOW TV recently launched in
May 2007 to over 70 million viewers simultaneously via broadband, mobile and
cable television.

No stranger to the camera, D. Woods was one of MTV’s reality stars
for two seasons on Diddy’s “Making the Band 3” and went on to achieve chart-topping
status with pop/R&B girl group Danity Kane’s #1 album debut on the
Billboard charts and their hit single “Showstopper.” She also made a cameo in
this year’s box office smash “Stomp the Yard” starring Columbus Short, Meagan
Good
and recording artists Ne-Yo & Chris Brown and played the love interest
in the video for Lloyd’s hit single featuring Lil Wayne “You.” Most recently
she stepped off a virtually sold-out 40 city tour with Danity Kane opening for
Christina Aguilera and The Pussycat Dolls and into the pages of spreads for
KING Magazine (May 2007) and SMOOTH Magazine (June 2007) allowing her fans to
get a little more up close and personal with D.Woods.

Prior to Making the Band and Danity
Kane, D. Woods trained extensively
in voice, acting, and all genres of dance including modern, ballet, hip-hop, and
West African and performed in off-Broadway stage and theater productions,
commercials, and on tour as a dancer with major recording artists. Also a
talented songwriter, D. Woods secured placements on albums for pop/R&B and
hip-hop artists including Kelis (Jive) and B5 (Bad Boy). D. Woods grew up in Springfield, MA where she discovered her love
for performing at an early age and went on to attend Tri-Cities Magnet High
School for Visual and Performing Arts in Atlanta, GA and the prestigious NYU
Tisch School of the Arts in New York City.

Most recently, D. Woods has been working on a new mixtape called “The Girls Club
Vol. 1” from her Atlanta-based songwriting team “The Girls Club” made up of D. Woods, her sister Shanell aka SNL
and Mika Means that will include features from Mya (Universal), Kelis (Jive),
Chrisette Michelle (Def Jam), Dawn & Aubrey of Danity Kane (Bad Boy/WEA),
and Too Short (Jive) to be released this summer. Also looking for the best way
to stay in shape on the go, D. Woods
and her Atlanta-based trainer Torwa Joe have developed their own hot new
workout series, the first segment of which is called “Crunk Abs.”

Stay tuned for more to come from
this multi-talented triple threat performer!
