Two weeks ago rumors began to fly that Diamond had left the group Crime Mob and Princess confirmed rumors that fellow rapstress had parted ways with the group.

Diamond has finally come out to discuss what really happened. Diamond said leaving Crime Mob was a mutual decision. “I didn’t decide by myself,” Diamond siad. “It was
brought to my attention by my former group members. And you know once
we talked about it, the decision was mutual. And I felt like this would
be a great opportunity to take some of the opportunities that were put
in front of me and not feel bad about it, like I’m leaving anybody out
or I’m trying to leave the group, or I’m trying to advance to the next
level and just forget them or whatever.”

Diamond confirmed that there was no beef between
she and other group members, and the decision was business-minded. “We had our differences, you know, but it’s no beef,” she said.
“It’s strictly business, so it is what it is now and I’m just living
for myself, doing what I can for myself.”

With this split from the group, Diamond was seen at an event in Atlanta over the past weekend and sources at the party said that Diamond seems like she has a little stomach on her and that she could possibly be pregnant. Could that be cause of her split from the group?

Diamond is currently working out a solo deal, and though she may end up staying with her current label, Warner Bros.,
she would consider signing to a new label. She also recently signed a new management company, Polo Grounds Music/Cookies and Milk, to help her as a solo artist. “I have a whole new team now,” she said. “A whole new glam squad –
hair, make-up, it’s just totally different. It’s a good feeling. It’s a
good feeling. It’s a total, total, total different environment than
what I was in before.”
