Last night the Academy Awards were held in Los Angeles, California as Oscars were given to actors, producers, directors, and others involved in the creation of the Academy’s chosen films of the year.

Taking home best documentary was the film “Undefeated,” executive produced by Diddy, about a high school football team from Memphis, Tennesee that undergoes the struggles of life in a rough Memphis area.

The film marks the first time an African American director has won an Academy Award.
