South Beach, FL. – Quite possibly one of the best concerts of 2008, DJ Khaled and a plethora of his industry friends rocked the stage at a packed Miami hotspot Club Mansion. This was a huge industry event for a lot of artists and execs alike, at the same time a concert going experience for many anticipated fans across the city limits. Club Mansion put together a fantastic event alongside DJ Khaled and his staff.

Fans and industry execs were filling in at early as 11pm. The crowd was packed by the time 1am came around. Artists began arriving around the same time as well. However they didn’t hit the stage until around 2, 2:30am to a packed crowd of many anticipated fans. Looking over from upstairs in VIP, the crowd below was elbow to elbow and far worse closer to the stage. A plethora of DJs touched the tables that night as many of them took turns on rotating back and forth keeping the people hype. Ace Hood was the first to hit the stage as he was also celebrating his Album Release as it was about to hit stores the very next morning. Ace began performing his hit singles along with a few others. He began the set with his mega hit ‘Cash Flow’ with the Boss, Rick Ross alongside him. Trey Songz even made a special appearance to sing the signature hook off of the chart topper ‘Ride.’ Brisco even graced the stage alongside Ace to perform their street hit ‘Don’t See Ya’ll,’ the crowd went wild as Brisco performed his verse electrifying the speakers.

As soon as Ace completed his set, Poe Boy stepped to the front to give a suburb performance. Billy Blue even stepped to the front of the stage with Brisco performing their hit, ‘Get Like Me.’ In his set, Blue even provided an Acapella freestyle portraying his talents, likewise with Triple Cs Gunplay as he also provided his own lyrical freestyle. As soon as Poe Boy completed their set, Khaled quickly came to the front to formally introduce the ATL native, Young Jeezy, as he provided Miami with an outstanding set of his own performing his hit singles from his album. As soon as ‘My President is Black’ and ‘Put On’ pumped in the speakers, the crowd went wild. Now not only did Jeezy grace the stage, Reggae sensation, Beenie Man also touched the mic alongside Busta Rhymes providing an exclusive set of old school hits. Towards the end, practically all of Miami touched the mic as Khaled allowed the movement to perform alongside the major headliners. It was amazing to see all of Miami on one stage side by side. One interesting Miami set I had to mention was that of Desloc and Iceberg as they performed the ‘Vibin” Remix side by side as Berg continued on performing the Dunk Ryder signature, ‘Fuck the Otherside.’

Other guest celebrities in attendance included 106 and Park’s hosts, Rocsi and Terrance as they touched the mic wishing Khaled a Happy Birthday. All in all it was a great event that practically half of Miami enjoyed. Let’s be real, when Khaled does it, he does it with a bang.
