Finally, after all these years of being arrested and suffering through drug abuse, rapper DMX, is finally standing up and taking control of his life. According to Bob Forrest, a resident drug counselor, X will be one of the many celebrities joining the cast of “Celebrity Rehab.”

“Celebrity Rehab” is a reality TV show, produced by Dr. Drew, that appears on VH1 and has included celebrities such as Chyna, Brigitte Nielsen, Rodney King, and now DMX will follow suit in attempts to get his life together.

X’s rap sheet lists a long line of offences from over the past ten years. Everything from drug possession (including marijuana and cocaine) to theft, animal cruelty and even identity theft can be found on his record.

Damn X, identity theft though? You’re taking other people’s identity? Why? It isn’t like everyone doesn’t already know who you are. Shouldn’t people be trying to steal yours? You are the one with the money and notoriety, right?  But hey, who am I to judge. I’m just glad that you have finally decided that enough is enough and this is the first step to taking your life back.

There has been no other celebrities named for the new season as of yet. Again you can catch “Celebrity Rehab” on VHI, so check your man X out. I’m really proud of you X., this is a good look. From X to X, I wish you nothing but success on your new journey!

Xzibit Still In Debt

Keeping up with my fellow X’s, rapper Xzibit is definitely getting the short end of the stick. Leaked reports of X’s debt issues have continued to surface online. Reportedly this former MTVs, “Pimp My Ride” host is facing a home foreclosure due to mortgage payments. He currently owes over $21,000 according to TMZ who said this:

“TMZ has learned Xzibit owes at least $21,403.98 in back mortgage payments, and he’s officially been warned by the bank that foreclosure is next. But judging from the way Xzibit flashed his ridiculously expensive diamonds in Vegas Wednesday (April 22) night, someone forgot to tell him about the house trouble — and the more than $500,000 he also owes in back taxes.”

So with all this debt, one might assume that X would be pinching every penny during this recession, right? WRONG!  Instead, X who owes over $500,000 in federal taxes and has liens with the IRS, is giving away $10,000 to fans who are willing to follow him on Twitter. Are you tweaking X? No pun intended. I just really need to know what is going through your mind.

Vibe Magazine reported: “Xzibit will be giving away $10Gs to his Twitter followers, specifically, five stacks will go to his 500,000th follower and the other $5Gs will be awarded to some other follower chosen at random. One thing, though: to date, Mr. X-to-tha-Z boasts a grand total of 9,186 followers, so get to following. Just think: you’ve got a .0002% chance of being $5,000 richer.”

I can’t even begin to understand why someone in debt would want to spend more money, but then again, normal folks do it everyday. Regardless, I’m guessing X knows what he is doing, so much love to you X.  Just a bit of friendly advice though, if you don’t pay your mortgage for that house, I can almost guarantee there will be no flossing on MTV Cribs in your near future.
